For researchers engaged in full-time academic pursuits and committed to research projects which will involve substantial use of The Rothschild Archive, a limited number of Rothschild Archive Bursaries is available.

The Bursaries are not intended to cover the full cost of any period of research in the Archive but are designed to provide practical assistance with travel, accommodation or incidental costs associated with such work.

The maximum sum usually granted to any applicant will be £1,000.

Applicants for Rothschild Archive Bursaries should apply to the Director of The Rothschild Archive at the address given below, stating:

• · Level at which the project is being pursued (undergraduate dissertation; post-doctoral thesis, etc.)
• · Synopsis of the project
• · Length and dates of projected period of research in The Rothschild Archive
• · The purpose to which the Bursary will be applied

Applicants should be aware that only a limited number of Bursaries is available and that the decision of the Director will be final.
