In this half-day workshop, we want to lay the groundwork for a project on the oral history of European Finance. The workshop will focus on the methodology of oral history:

How to set up a long term oral history project

How to co-ordinate, transcribe, select and edit the collected testimonies

How to set up an interview

Which interview techniques and skills are required

What are the technical requirements and possibilities and how can they be used to their fullest extent?

Storage of audio and video material

How to present the project and its findings to a wider audience?
After this conceptual overview, participants will be asked to carry out their first interviews and plan the recordings for the conversation event that will take place the following day.
