Rothschild family interests

The Rothschild family’s personal interests, like their business, have been pursued with an attention to quality and a keen eye for innovation.  Henri de Rothschild was an early motoring enthusiast. In England, his cousin Lionel was a talented horticulturalist, creating a beautiful garden at Exbury House. The Sèvres porcelain that many members of the family collected was perfectly suited to the style of Rothschild hospitality. Rothschild collections of art and objets d’art are among the finest ever assembled.
